Who are we? How is our blog different?

We are here because we’re passionate about yarn. This is our craft and we are fanatical about it. We’re here to support you whether you’re a beginner or have been at this for a long time.

Stacy C: A perfectionist at heart, making my own flourish to a knitting pattern is a great delight. I love to create and my love and knowledge about yarn allows me to accomplish great feats. I dabbled in crochet during college but became a serious knitter in May 2010. A challenge is what makes me happy; slippers, sock monkeys, hats, scarves, towels, pop-over mittens, etc., I’ve done it all. I love details! Not knowing a knitting abbreviation doesn’t intimidate me because I know help is just a touch away. If you’re stuck and need help, please consider me your best resource.

Susannmarie: I’m a wife, a mother and now, a knitter. I learned to knit also in May 2010 and haven’t looked back. Knitting saved me from myself. Really. Learning to knit opened up a whole new world for me. This world allows me to be creative and take chances! I’ve completely immersed myself into the yarn world and it’s wonderful. I encourage you to dive in as well.

We balance one another – Yen and Yang – it’s true. That’s what makes us the perfect team.

No matter what, don’t doubt yourself. Knitting and crocheting are much like yoga, even when you think you have  mastered a pose (stitch) there’s always another level. You’re always learning, also doing new things. We’re here to see you through that journey as we walk through it ourselves.
